who we are
Born from friendship, faith, and a shared belief that every child deserves the chance to live a full and dignified life.
Answering the call to serve
In 2000, Co-Founder and CEO Zane Wilemon boarded a one-way flight to Kenya searching for purpose. What he found was Jeremiah Kuria: a pastor and community leader whose faith and compassion for the overlooked mirrored his own.
The two began meeting every Thursday for lunch, sharing ideas about how to better serve their community. Week after week, those conversations turned into action. First a small outreach effort, then a growing vision for children with special needs who lacked access to care, therapy, and education.
From those lunches, Ubuntu Life Foundation was born: a place built on friendship and faith, where children with neurological and developmental needs receive the care they deserve, and where families find strength, belonging, and hope for the future.
