Giving every Kenyan child the opportunity to thrive.
In East Africa, a child’s diagnosis can mean a lifetime of exclusion.
Across East Africa, millions of children living with neurological disorders are isolated from the services they need—not by choice, but by circumstance. They live in areas with no specialized care, lack access to inclusive education, and are often misunderstood or unsupported by systems that weren’t designed for them.
Without specialized medical services and inclusive community education, the cycle of poverty and marginalization is perpetuated, and children aren’t given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Ubuntu is building a healthcare and education system that works for children with special needs.
Over the last 25 years, Ubuntu has cultivated the community-based knowledge, technical expertise, and deep-rooted network of trust that facilitates radical, long-term solutions.
