ABOUT OUR WELLNESS CENTER
On July 2, 2022, the Ubuntu Life Foundation took a big step forward and moved into our brand new Children's Wellness Center. The 22,000-square-foot building sits on 11 acres in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. The building has nine large classrooms, a lunchroom, an occupational therapy center, a playground, and the Ubuntu Life Foundation Clinic, which employs the only doctor in Maai Mahiu - a town of over 70,000 people.

CHILDREN'S WELLNESS CENTER IMPACT
School Program
Our school program has seen significant impact from moving into the Children's Wellness Center. Larger classrooms provide a more relaxing environment for the kids. This means that children with sensory issues can better regulate themselves, making it easier for the teachers and caregivers to communicate with them and for a better learning experience.
CLINIC
Since moving into the Children's Wellness Center, our clinic has been able to provide more efficient care to our patients. Clinic numbers have more than tripled since moving in. We now see over 70 general care patients per month. With room for more staff and better equipment, we can provide high-quality care to the children we serve.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Since moving into the Children's Wellness Center, our occupational therapy center has expanded with room to take on more clients. Our therapy room has updated equipment that allows us to serve our children's individual needs better.

Our education program offers individualized learning plans for each of our students. We know that no two children are the same, and each deserves individualized care.

The Ubuntu Life Foundation Clinic employs the only doctor in the town of Maai Mahiu. From our Neuro Program to general patients and more, we see over 1,000 children annually.
