We are thrilled to share with you the incredible work of the Bethany team, a Christian mission group that is making a significant impact in the lives of children with surgical conditions and disabilities. They have partnered with the Ubuntu Life Foundation to provide much-needed aid through rehabilitation services that provide assistive devices.

One of the primary goals of the Bethany team during their collaboration with Ubuntu is to focus on wheelchair fitting, repair, and sitting aid donations. This partnership is of utmost importance because the assistive devices they donate not only benefit our children but also ensure their ongoing maintenance and support.

It is worth highlighting that Bethany is a segment of the renowned Kijabe Hospital, which stands as one of the most important surgical hospitals in Kenya. Their expertise and dedication have been instrumental in transforming the lives of countless children.

During their recent visit, the Bethany team successfully fitted and repaired eight wheelchairs, serving as a long-term solution to improve the children's posture. Additionally, six children were fortunate to receive assistive devices, with five of them having cerebral palsy. These children now have access to wheelchairs that will greatly enhance their mobility and enable them to perform daily activities with greater ease. Furthermore, one child with cerebral palsy received a sitting aid that will assist in enhancing their sitting and trunk stability.

We are immensely grateful to the Bethany team for their unwavering commitment and support. Their collaboration with the Ubuntu Life Foundation has brought hope and improved the quality of life for these children. Together, we are making a lasting difference.
