Expanding access to medical care and education across Kenya

Ubuntu Life Foundation creates access to care, education, and opportunity for children with neurological and developmental needs in Kenya. Our integrated model spans healthcare, therapy, and education to help every child reach their potential and every family find hope close to home.

Education

Building confidence, curiosity, and capability.

Our team provides holistic, multidisciplinary education for children with neurological and developmental conditions such as epilepsy, autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and learning or behavioral challenges.

Our approach blends inclusive education with clinical care, nutrition, and therapy to ensure every child receives the comprehensive support they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe every child has purpose, potential, and gifts worth sharing. At Ubuntu Life Foundation Vocational University, our training model helps young adults with special needs develop real-world skills and prepare for meaningful work and community reintegration.

Each student’s journey follows five phases, from exploration and interest mapping to skill specialization and community reintegration. Along the way, instructors provide technical training, spiritual mentorship, and emotional support.

Learners explore vocational paths like:

  • Catering, hospitality, and housekeeping

  • Farming and agribusiness

  • Beadwork, tailoring, and design

  • Baking, fine arts, and paper crafts

  • Digital and storytelling skills

A home for healing, learning, and belonging

In July 2022, Ubuntu Life Foundation opened the Children’s Wellness Center, a 22,000-square-foot space purpose-built to meet the medical, developmental, and social needs of children with special needs under one roof. Located on 11 acres in Maai Mahiu, Kenya, the Center is the first and only facility of its kind in the region.
